DTE Signs Agreement with Valor Alloys LLC at ReMA 2026, Accelerating Adoption of Real-Time Melt Analysis
DTE, a leader in real-time molten metal analysis in Reykjavik, Iceland, today announced a new agreement with Valor Alloys LLC, a Texas-based aluminium recycling and smelting company, marking continued momentum in the adoption of data-driven melt management solutions across North America.
The agreement, signed by Valor Alloys LLC CEO Robert Khami, adds the company to DTE’s expanding network of aluminium alloy producers leveraging real-time data to enhance melt control, improve process stability, and drive measurable operational gains.
The partnership underscores growing demand for solutions that address operational limitations caused by delayed and infrequent melt chemistry insights, an industry challenge DTE refers to as the The Cost of Blindness. As smelter and alloy companies face increasing pressure to increase production, reduce raw material costs, and maintain consistent alloy quality, access to frequent and accurate chemical composition data is becoming a critical differentiator.
By enabling automated and immediate access to chemical composition data, DTE’s technology supports faster, more informed decision-making on the furnace floor. This allows operators to respond dynamically during the melting process, reducing cycle times, optimizing charge mix strategies, and improving overall material yield and process efficiency.
